Overview
AUN EMI Calculator ("the App") is developed and maintained by Maulik Raja ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
In short: The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information. All loan calculations and history are stored locally on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Device identifiers beyond what is required by third-party SDKs
- Location data
- Financial data entered into the calculator (all data stays on-device)
- Usage analytics of any kind
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following data only on your device and it is never transmitted to our servers:
- Loan calculation inputs and results (EMI, amortization schedules)
- Saved loan comparisons
- GST calculation history
- PDF exports generated within the App (saved to your device's file system)
- App preferences and settings
This data can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage via your device's Settings.
Advertising — Google AdMob
The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and use certain information to serve personalised or non-personalised ads, including:
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
- IP address and approximate location (country/region)
- Device type, operating system version, and language
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Google's use of advertising data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy . You can opt out of personalised advertising by adjusting your device's ad-tracking settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads).
We do not have access to the raw data collected by AdMob beyond aggregated, anonymised reporting.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Data Security
Because all user-generated data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data is governed by your device's own security features (passcode, biometrics, encryption). We do not transmit your calculation data over the internet.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
